Fort Myers , Florida
My flight out of Fort Myers , 20 Aug 19 , was cancelled for the second time in 4 days. Tired of paying taxi fares back and forth to the airport I managed to contact a friend to come pick me up and drive me back home.
Naturally my friend got hungry on his long drive from the Cape to RSW and suggested that we stop for lunch at 2meatballs. As I had this place already book marked I quickly agreed , not to mention I was also hungry and frustrated having my flight cancelled.
We arrive and are quickly seated by our waitress , Tesla.
After studying the menu I order the 2 meatballs in a sandwich.
My friend ... ordered everything else on the menu.
My friend has some physical disabilities and required some special attention and our waitress was very kind and accommodating.
The place was very nice and had ample seating to accommodate a large group. The attire is florida casual. The parking is free in the lot outside.
Our food arrived and my friend ate everything he ordered. My order of 2meatballs in a sandwich from the 2meatballs in the kitchen was very good but the sandwich was very big. I only finished half of my sandwich and doggy bagged the other half. I like this place and I will be back to try other items on the menu. Unfortunately , I forgot to take a photo of my sandwich or of my friend's "everything" on the menu for posting on this review.
But come on , close your eyes and picture two meatballs covered with mozzarella cheese on Italian bread. Hmmmm , doesn't that look delish ?
Ok , open your eyes and forgetaboutit ... I already ate the sandwich. Jaaa -

This place is great!! We ordered the Mussels Fra Diavolo as an appetizer and the sauce was delicious and tasted very fresh. After being served an Espresso Martini, the bartender personally came over to see how I liked it and seemed passionate about his work. My boyfriend had a bourbon on the rocks and was complimented on his taste.
For our meal, we had Spaghetti and Meatballs and the Seafood Ravioli special. The spaghetti portion was huge and the sauce was delicious. The meatballs were also huge and well seasoned. The seafood ravioli was loaded with fresh seafood and had an excellent sauce.
Their specials change daily so there's always a reason to come back. We definitely will! -

3.5 stars!! My brother and sister in law purchased a vacation home in the area so we drove over to spend the day with them. By the end of the afternoon we were all so hungry.
As we were driving around we saw this restaurant. It's a nice size free standing building quite large. Nice bar area which is where we decided to dine at a high top table. It was an early Saturday evening and they still offered happy hour. Our server was friendly. We ordered a few appetizers off the happy hour menu. We ordered Calamari, mussels and eggplant stacked.
The calamari was made how I like it with flour not heavy breading. This was some of the best calamari I have tasted. The portion was huge and the marinara sauce that came with it was delicious with a hint of spicyness. Delicious!! I did not try the mussels but the guys really enjoyed it. The eggplant stack was heavily breaded so I opted not to try it.
We both ordered a couple of bottles of wine. Really nice selection and very reasonable pricing. Garlic rolls were also brought out to the table and they were very good.
For my entree I ordered Mama Rosas pasta dish. It was Campagneli pasta with shrimp in a spicy sauce. I was excited since I enjoy spice. The entrees are a really good size. Lots of food to take home.
Unfortunately my pasta dish fell short. There was no flavor at all to the dish. Tons of shrimp they are not skimpy. The pasta was cooked ok, just no flavor at all. I kept pouring crushed red pepper to make it edible. Everyone else ordered various dishes and they said it was ok.
I really enjoyed the casual Italian decor, great bar area. Friendly service with reasonable prices. I would come back and give another try with a different dish.
Great happy hour!!
I would go back for the amazing calamari and wine. -

Overall pretty good super large portion pasta place. I got chicken parmesan and it came with two huge pieces. Wife got the meatballs and vodka sauce. Pretty tasty.
Its missing deep cooked all day richness but made for a good meal and lunch another day.
Crowded.
Wait staff was very very good. Friendly and helpful. -

By far our favorite Italian restaurant in Fort Myers. Whether you sit at a table or grab a seat at the bar, you won't be disappointed. Great food, drinks and people!
